At BoardSphere, we are dedicated to creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for board game enthusiasts of all ages. While we aim to ensure every visitor has a positive experience, we understand that there may be situations where a refund is requested. This Refund Policy outlines the terms, eligibility, and process for obtaining a refund for memberships, game sessions, or other services.

By purchasing access or services from BoardSphere, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

1. Refund Request Period

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of purchase. Requests made after this period are generally not accepted unless exceptional circumstances arise, such as a verified issue with our service or facilities.

2. Membership Refunds

  • Monthly memberships within 14 days of purchase if the service has not been used.
  • Quarterly or annual memberships within 30 days of purchase if fewer than 10 hours of club access have been utilized.
  • Partial refunds may be issued based on time and usage if a membership has been partially used.

3. Game Session and Table Reservations

  • Cancellations made at least 7 days before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made between 3 and 6 days prior to the session are eligible for a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 3 days before the session are non-refundable.
  • If we cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

4. Non-Refundable Services

  • Food, beverages, or consumable items purchased at the club.
  • Single-entry passes that have been activated or used.
  • Promotional packages or discounted sessions marked as “final sale.”
  • Game purchases or merchandise once taken from the club.

5. Damaged or Missing Items

If rented or borrowed board games or accessories are defective or missing parts:

  • Notify our staff immediately upon discovery.
  • A replacement or refund may be provided if the item cannot be repaired or replaced.
  • Refund eligibility depends on timely reporting, generally within 3 days of the session.

6. Group Bookings

  • Full refunds if canceled at least 14 days prior to the event.
  • Partial refunds of 50% if canceled between 7 and 13 days before the event.
  • No refunds if canceled less than 7 days before the event.

7. Accidental or Duplicate Purchases

  • Contact our staff within 24 hours of the transaction.
  • Refunds are possible if the product or service has not been used.

8. Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days once approved.
  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Store credit may be offered if a refund to the original payment method is not possible.

9. Abuse of Refund Policy

Refund requests may be denied if:

  • Multiple requests are made without valid reasons.
  • Evidence of fraudulent activity or misuse is identified.
  • Club rules have been violated, including disruptive behavior.

10. Legal Rights

This policy does not affect any statutory rights provided under applicable consumer protection laws. Customers may have additional entitlements beyond those listed here, and these rights will be fully honored.
